1. Who we are
Thee Rainers ("we", "us", "our") is a boxing performance coaching and digital products brand operated by Rainers. Our website is theerainers.com. Our contact address for data matters is rainers@theerainers.com.
2. What data we collect and why
We collect only what we need to deliver our products and services:
- Email address and name — when you submit a free download form, register for the Monthly Q&A, or submit a coaching application. Used to send you the requested resource and relevant follow-up communication.
- Email address, name, and billing details — when you purchase a product. Billing details (card number, CVV) are handled exclusively by Stripe and never pass through or are stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment and your email address.
- Purchase records — product purchased, subscription status, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Stored in our customer database to manage your access and billing.
- Application content — if you apply for 1-on-1 coaching, the information you submit in the application form (fight record, training background, goals).
- Communications — if you contact us by email or via the contact form, we keep a record of that correspondence.
We do not collect data from public databases, data brokers, or marketing partners. We do not collect data from social media profiles unless you provide it directly to us.
3. Legal basis for processing (EU/EEA)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies:
- Contract — processing is necessary to deliver the product or service you purchased or requested (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Consent — where you have opted in to receive email communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email we send, or by emailing rainers@theerainers.com.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security, and the administration of our business where this does not override your rights.
4. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect or store your IP address or any individually identifiable information. Aggregate visit statistics are used only to understand how our site is performing.
5. Who we share your data with
We share your data only with the service providers necessary to operate the site. We do not sell your data.

6. Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Purchase and subscription records are kept for the duration of our legal and tax obligations (typically 7 years from the end of the tax year in which the transaction occurred). Email marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe. Application data for 1-on-1 coaching is kept for 12 months if unsuccessful.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR (if you are in the EU/EEA) you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations
- Restriction of processing
